I had the privilege of photographing something unusual over the weekend – a motorcycle! A Buell Lightning X1 to be exact, and I have to say I really quite enjoyed it – my tomboy side was definitely showing on Sunday when I photographed this beautiful piece of mechanism!
Basically this motorcycle is my father’s pride and joy (I’m sure he loves it more than he loves me!), and he wants to enter it into the annual Buell calendar. He recently had the custom paintwork done too, so having it photographed was a must! We took it down to the Felixstowe Ferry (which is such a beautiful location for any photographs) and I have to say we had some funny looks whilst having it on the top of the hill (from humans and dogs alike!)
It’s safe to say that I’m now in my dad’s good books (I have never seen him so excited to see my photography before…) and I’ve also found another type of photography that I enjoy. If, like my dad, you would like your pride and joy (motorcycle, car, army tank… anything!) photographed – contact me and I will see what I can do!
Here’s a couple of images out of the final thirty for you guys to have a look at. I hope you love them as much as my dad did!
