Jack & Vickie’s wedding was our first of 2017 – I was so excited to be back at one of my favourite wedding venues, Alpheton Hall Barns! We started the day off at a hair salon in Lavenham, moving onto a beauty salon a couple of doors down, and then to a lovely house that the family were hiring for the wedding. It was a lovely chilled morning – Vickie’s bridesmaids were so helpful! I absolutely loved Vickie’s backless style wedding dress!

Vickie was a little late (fabulously late I’d like to add) to the ceremony which had Jack wriggling in his seat – but as soon as she was next to him at ‘the altar’ you could tell he was the cat that had caught the cream 🙂

I love how Jack & Vickie set their tables – ‘Harry Potter’ style as I would call it – which is ironic as the house that Harry Potter was born in is only 10 mins away from Alpheton Hall Barns, but anyway! It was a lovely social way to have the tables, I think it worked brilliantly!

Between the wedding breakfast and the evening do, Jack & Vickie had chosen to have limbo, jenga and boules set up – I am certainly a fan, it makes for some wonderful natural shots of the guests having fun. Vickie even had a go on the limbo!

The sun always sets beautifully at Alpheton Hall Barns, even if it’s cloudy, as you can see in the pictures! The sky looked beautifully moody in the evening, so of course we had to go out and get some pictures. Oh and of course we had a go on Nic’s zipwire out the back! 😉

In the evening, Jack & Vickie had chosen a ceilidh band – and this particular ceilidh band would talk you through different routines, it was an absolute hit with the guests as you can see from the pictures, the dancefloor was packed!

It was so great to start off with such a lovely, energetic wedding for 2017! Thank you so much Jack & Vickie for having me. It was a truly lovely day and you are a fab couple, with no doubt a lifetime of happiness ahead of you 🙂
