What a wonderful day it was documenting Lauren & Matt’s beautiful September wedding! The sun was shining, wedding restrictions gone, and the guests were certainly ready to party! It was our first time photographing at new venue Fynn Valley Terrace, and honestly it could not be more suited for the occasion of weddings.
A few of my favourite things about Lauren & Matt’s special day:
- Lauren’s dad made the most amazing archway for their ceremony – from scratch! We were so impressed!
- Lauren’s childhood teddy made it to the getting ready shots, of course! No childhood teddy should ever be left out of the celebrations 🙂
- It was the first ever civil ceremony that we had photographed purely outdoors with no outdoor structure – as usually, legally you cannot get married in Suffolk without a three-sided structure. If there was one good thing to come out of the ‘rona, it was that, temporarily, outdoor weddings could take place without these restrictions!
- Caterpillar cakes. Need I say more?
- The different colour bridesmaid dresses worked so well – what a lovely palette of colours!
